A Note from Pastor Rich

May 7, 2000

A dear friend gave me a quote from the book "Come Away My Beloved" the same day that the Lord was blessing us through the song of worship, "Be the Center." I was touched by the words, and I thought I would share part of them with you. It is written from God's perspective (edited for this note).

"Behold, you seek revival. You do well; only seek it not in the energy of the flesh. For the flesh is ever intent upon its own interests; yes, it always lusts after those things which do perish with the using. I would have you seek Me in Spirit; then I would come down upon you in all My fullness, and would hold back nothing of all that I desire to do unto you. For My ways are hidden from them that seek Me in the energy of the flesh.

I ask you not to DO, but to BE. For whatever is of the flesh is flesh; but when you shall allow My Spirit to have free course, when you cease to interfere with My moving within you, then those things which shall be accomplished both within you and through you shall be the very LIFE of GOD.

For My Spirit is the Spirit of Life.

For I am with you and I am in you to make you neither unbarren or unfruitful. I am in you to give you life and give it to you ABUNDANTLY, yes, life without limit. For all I am able to do for you is limited only by My eternal Life and Power, and to these THERE ARE NO LIMITS!

I wait to bless you and to give you My fullness, because I love you even beyond your power to begin to know!"

I wanted to share these words with you because I knew they would bless you as they did me. We desire to see God's hand moving in revival, and the key is to have Jesus be the Center.

 Your Servant,

Rich
