Pastor Joe Pratchard

Pastor Joe Pratchard is the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Concord. He has been in full time ministry for 31 years and has been pastoring Calvary Chapel Concord for over 20 years. Prior to that, he was on staff with Raul Ries at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs. Pastor Joe is a gifted teacher with a deep love for God and His Word. He has a warm, compassionate heart, caring for God’s people. He has a burden for the brokenhearted, and always seeks to help restore others in Christ.

Pastor Joe has taught at the Calvary Chapel Bible College Extension Campus, retreats and conferences.

He has been married now for over 25 years to his lovely wife Dottie. He loves football and has coached his three sons at a local Christian High School team for the past 12 years.

In addition to being a Pastor, for the last 4 years, Pastor Joe has been serving his community as Senior Chaplain of the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department. He received post- and ICPC (International Conference of Police Chaplain) training.
