At Calvary Chapel of Kansas City, worship is something we do in response to our relationship with the Lord. We seek to provide an atmosphere where spiritual growth and family care are an outward expression of our authentic loving relationships with God and one another. In addition to learning the Truth of God's word together, we believe music and the arts can also inspire us to be a community of believers who worship in spirit and truth.
As a native of Kansas City, CCM recording artist/songwriter, producer, worship leader, Paul Clark, has made Calvary his church home. He brings 35 years of Calvary Chapel relationships and experiences, as well as long standing citywide relationships, as a resource to the present and future growth of our fellowship. From the early days of the Jesus Movement in Costa Mesa, to the current flow, Paul has been a pioneer in continuing to influence people for the Kingdom of God.
As Paul says, "We realize that we are only one of the unique voices of the body of Christ in the metropolitan Kansas City area. We welcome the opportunity to be in harmony with other fellowships. In that spirit, we willfully seek to obey the commandment of Jesus to love one another, therefore building up the body, In further obedience, we want to reach out to those who are not in an active faith relationship with Jesus Christ, encouraging them to engage with Him and receive from His abundance. If Calvary is the place for them to connect with Him and other believer's, then we are overjoyed to have them in our newly planted church in Southern Johnson County."
Paul continues to travel and express his gifts in different capacities, but he is committed to the growth of Calvary Chapel Kansas City, in developing our worship community, as well as helping Pastor Jim lay a firm foundation for the fellowship to build upon.
