At Calvary Chapel Kansas City we understand, "He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry (Eph 4:11)."

We each have received a gift from Him and desire to share in the rewards together that He Himself provides.

The work of ministry begins when we meet together and "with the power of of His Spirit we will be witnesses to Him both in Jerusalem and all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8)"

We desire to have the Book of Acts be our model for ministry and to be church planters so that He will be glorified.

Hope for Ishmael is dedicated to seeing peace and reconciliation come for the Arabs and Jews. It is our firm conviction that peace can only be achieved for these two peoples when they have a true heart change.

Only through this heart change can a lasting peace come for them and the region of the world they live in. We are dedicated to set our focus on giving them hope for this peace through spreading the message of the Bible. Our passion is to bring hope to the hearts of those wounded, forgotten and ravaged by generations of hatred and war.

Our immediate goal atHope for Ishmael is to build a bridge between the people of Gaza and Israel through education, cultural understanding and most importantly, faith in Jesus Christ.
