At Calvary Chapel Kansas City we understand, "He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry (Eph 4:11)."

We each have received a gift from Him and desire to share in the rewards together that He Himself provides.

The work of ministry begins when we meet together and "with the power of of His Spirit we will be witnesses to Him both in Jerusalem and all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8)"

We desire to have the Book of Acts be our model for ministry and to be church planters so that He will be glorified.

Richard and Masako are living on the outskirts of Tokyo and attend Committed Japan.  Richard teaches at six different schools teaching English and the Bible to those who are interested.  Richard and Masako have two daughters Kiko and Megumi.  Richard and Masako serve with IICS and are friends of the body at Calvary Chapel Kansas City.
