At Calvary Chapel Kansas City we understand, "He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry (Eph 4:11)."

We each have received a gift from Him and desire to share in the rewards together that He Himself provides.

The work of ministry begins when we meet together and "with the power of of His Spirit we will be witnesses to Him both in Jerusalem and all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8)"

We desire to have the Book of Acts be our model for ministry and to be church planters so that He will be glorified.
Missions in Mexico

Crooked Stick Ministries
Harold “Paco” Mills
After serving the people in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas Mexico, for three months, Harold returned to Calvary Chapel Kansas City. However, the Lord has continued to minister to Harold and he has been called back to Mexico, in October 2007, this time in Oaxaca (pronounced wahaka). He will be serving alongside Nathan Mattfeld who has been in Oaxaca with his family for several years. Nathan and Harold will work from the city and reach into the highlands populated by indigenous peoples speaking different dialects.

Travel in this region is frequently accomplished via donkeys or ATVs and conditions such as a river being impassable can result in simply turning around and trying again at a later time.

Harold is partnering with G.O. Ministries to coordinate this long-term mission effort under Crooked Stick Ministries. Please pray that Harold continues to hear from the Lord and moves in agreement with His perfect timing. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Paco is the first missionary that CCKC has sent into the field.
