Students must receive a grade of "P" and a total of 80 credits to receive the Certificate of Completion.

Associate in Theology

The Associate in Theology is a two-year program intended for students who have completed high school or a G.E.D. program or its equivalent. Students must take all the required courses and pass them with a grade of "C" or better.

Bachelor of Biblical Studies

The Bachelor of Biblical Studies is a two-year program for students who have completed at least two years of transferable general education. Students must take all the required courses and pass them with a grade of "C" or better, and must submit official transcripts which show the two years of general education. Auditing a class

It could be that you are interested in taking a class(es) for your own personal intellectual stimulation and spiritual growth with no consideration for a certificate or a degree. AUDITING might be just what you are looking for.

Although you will not receive a grade or get official credit for taking the class, this is a great opportunity to dig deeper into GodŐs Word. You will not be required to hand in the assignments, to do the course work or take the tests. But we encourage you to be as involved as much as you possibly can for the sake of your own learning.

Auditing should not be viewed as a casual commitment. We would appreciate your regular attendance at the classes. Keeping up with the lectures and reading assignments is important to your learning and it also keeps the class moving along together. Remember that the entire class is affected if you are absent or late.

You may AUDIT any class for a flat fee of $25.00 per class. Please fill out an application and register for the class(es) you wish to Audit. Registration forms are available at the Church office or on Registration Day, Saturday, August 24th at 8:00 AM.

A grade point average of 2.0 must be maintained in order to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College. If a student's semester GPA drops below 2.0, the student will have one semester to bring the cumulative GPA up to 2.0. If the student is not able to bring the GPA up within one semester, he or she will be asked to move from the degree-seeking program to the Certificate of Completion program. Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all required courses. Grades of "D+" or lower will not be considered a passing grade for any required course. "F" is a failing grade. Any course in which an "F" is received cannot be applied toward a degree or certificate.

Doctrinal Statement

We believe in all the basic doctrines of historic Christianity.

We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God.

We believe that God is eternally existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that God is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things.

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. Jesus provided for the atonement of our sins by His substitutionary death on the cross and was bodily raised from the dead. He ascended to the right hand of the Father and ever lives to make intercession for us.

We believe in the personal, visible and pre-millennial second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth. He will return with His saints and set up a kingdom of which there will be no end.

We believe that after Jesus ascended to Heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem, enabling them to fulfill His command preach the gospel to the entire world, an obligation shared by all believers today.

We believe that all people are by nature separated from God and are responsible for their own sin. Salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord by trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit. All his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord.

We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Scriptures, and that they are valid for today if they are exercised within scriptural guidelines. We as believers are to covet the best gifts, seeking to exercise them in love so that the whole Body of Christ might be edified. We believe that love is more important than the most spectacular gifts, and without this love all exercise of spiritual gifts is worthless.
