"The Prayer Room"
The Prayer Room has been designed as a meeting place
for people who understand there is tremendous value in
prayer. People can share their prayer needs and pray for
others - whether across town or around the world. Our
desire is to get more people praying regularly for the
needs of others and to provide a place for those who
need prayer to access "prayer warriors"
quickly and easily. Through modern technology, it is
possible to have tens, hundreds, or even thousands of
people praying for you. Do you or someone you know need
prayer? The Prayer Room is a place where
you can share your prayer request with others who will
pray for you or the people you love.

be as brief as possible (three to five lines maximum).
The Lord knows the details. Also, please remember to
observe others' privacy where appropriate. In order to
keep this page current, most requests submitted will be
posted on this page for up to 40 days. Please keep us up
to date if prayer requests should be removed earlier.
Prayer requests that were removed after the 40 days may
be "resubmitted" for continued prayer. Please
join with us as we lift these needs up to the all
powerful God of this universe. Remember also to respond
with your Praise Reports as we thank Him for His amazing

fell trying to stoop down and twisted and injured her
knee yesterday. She is in severe pain, it is
swollen and she is limping. Nothing has happened
to treat or help her so far. Her (so-called) Dr. is on
vacation, which may be a blessing if they can find his
replacement. Please pray for quick recovery and
no serious injury (it made ugly noises when it
happened) and God's
covering and wisdom for her in deciding what she needs
to skip from her schedule. Thank you.

Supreme Court justices will hear oral arguments in the
combined cases challenging the constitutionality of
California’s definition of marriage on March 4, pray
for the future of
marriage in California. A supreme battle is underway, with the future of
the institution of marriage as the prize. Meanwhile, efforts continue to qualify a constitutional
marriage-protection initiative for the November ballot. Pray for the commitment and strength of pastors,
grassroots activists, and donors undertaking this
worthwhile cause. Pray that God will protect these
efforts and provide the financing and support needed to
qualify the measure in a timely fashion.

There is rarely a better feeling when facing a
situation than to be able to say with confidence that
you are part of a prayer team that WILL pray. We
should never use the Prayer Room to
"promote" any particular church or ministry
but to glorify our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as we
desire to follow His example. The Prayer Room is an
outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel Christian Church
of the Ojai Valley to serve the larger "Body of
