In January we begin a month of prayer and fasting. Each
day of the month a group of people were fasting and praying for the ministries
of NVCC and our community. You can find some notes on prayer and fasting by
Pastor Bob (see Isaiah 58) and
by Bill Bright on this site. We encourage you to make
prayer and fasting a regular part of your Christian discipline. |

Tuesday mornings at 9:30 PM at the church and Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM.
Our women are doing the study "Lord I Want to Know You." Workbooks are
available in the church bookstore. |

Monday night each month at 7:00 PM. |

Finishing strong is our continuing series for the devotional. Our main job
in the morning is prayer. Check with the office for the schedule for 1999. |

This
men's group meets weekly at 7:00 PM on Tuesdays at the church for Bible study
and prayer and planning for the next project for helping widows, single
mothers, and others with needs. CFC is
still working in the flood and fire recovery areas Tuesdays through Saturdays.
Over 284 homes have been completed. Workers (men and women) meet at 7:30 AM at
Miller Day Hall located at the Yuba County airport. Lunch is served there each
work day. |
